What is Sade Sati?
Sade Sati is the roughly seven and a half years when Saturn moves through the sign before your Moon sign, your Moon sign itself, and the sign after it — about two and a half years each. It comes around every 30 years or so.
It is a period of hard work, responsibility and slow results rather than only misfortune; many people achieve a great deal in it. How it feels depends on Saturn's strength in your chart and your running dasha. Shani Dhaiya is the shorter two and a half year transit of Saturn over the 4th or 8th sign from the Moon.
